Here is the sentence for questioning name in Thai: คุณ ชื่อ อะไร ครับ/คะ  khun chêu a-rai kráp/ká  What's your name? คุณ[khun] is as "you"  ชื่อ[ chêu] means "name" อะไร[ a-rai] equals "what" Thai is different to English, if you look at the sentence " คุณชื่ออะไร", it is the question sentence as same as " What's your name?" in English. We don't use the word " อะไร", which is the same meaning as "what", to lay at the front of the question sentence. On the other hand, we put it at the end of the sentence.
