Today, we are going to learn Thai how to make an interrogative sentence (ประโยคคำถาม [bprà-yòhk kam tăam]) “How old are you?” in Thai language. Here we go! See how to write and pronounce as the example sentence below: คุณ อายุ เท่าไหร่ khun aa-yú tâo rài How old are you? Therefore, if you were questioned as the above sentence, you should reply like this below: <br /> If you are female, you say this: ฉัน อายุ สามสิบ ปี ค่ะ chăn aa-yú săam sìp bpee kâa I am 30 years old. Of course, if you are male, you must use the sentence to say below: ผม อายุ สี่สิบ ปี ครับ pŏm aa-yú sèe sìp bpee kráp I am 40 years old. 30. How Do Thai People Greet The Others? : คนไทยทักทายกันอย่างไร : Learn Thai by Sentences

Handshake, cheek kissing, bowing, hug,... No, all these are not the way of Thai people do greeting each other. Therefore, what do they do? Thai has their unique culture of how to greeting to the others, it is called “ WAI” = “ไหว้ ” WAI is a gesture used to say hello. It is also a sign respect to the others while greeting. Thai will say “ สวัสดี ค่ะ/ครับ sà-wàt-dee khâa/kráp " and immediate do “ WAI ” at the same time for greeting one another. สวัสดีครับ How are you? I'm Michael Leng, I'm Thai. Today I am going to teach you the word for saying some sentences when you do not know something in Thai ; it is very super easy to say that. Are you ready? See here it is as below. If you are male, you say: ผม ไม่รู้ จริงๆ pŏm mâi róo ching ching I really don't know. On the other hand, if you are female, you speak: ฉัน ไม่รู้ จริงๆ chăn mâi róo ching ching I really don't know. Or you can say: ดิฉัน ไม่รู้ จริงๆ dì-chăn mâi róo ching ching I really don't know. Please remember, Thai has the individual pronoun for male and female. The speaker will use the only word which comply to their gender. I have written for you to understand what they are as below lines. ดิฉัน [dì-chăn] or ฉัน [chan] are for women. ผม [pŏm] is for men to use. Hope from now on, you will know the way to say if you know nothing about something, you should to say as I have posted in this article today.

Let me suppose you and your friend were in Thailand and you need someone who can speak English for helping you taking your friend to the hospital. You do not understand Thai much at that time.
