What to say "Not Very Good." in Thai?


Learn Thai, the sentences you will use to reply the question if you are: Not Very Good. / I'm Sick. / So so

ฉันไม่สบาย(chan mâi sà-baai ) : I'm sick.

สวัสดีทุกคนครับ(Sawatdeekhrup) Hi, everybody.

 สบายดีไหมครับ(Sabaideemaikhrup) How are you?

My name is Michael Leng, if you are our regular website's fan, you may know that as I have written the Thai sentences how to greeting to other people: How are you?” = “คุณสบายดีไหม[khun sà-baai dee mái] and also the sentence for responding with positive ways as: ดิฉันสบายดีค่ะ / ขอบคุณ[dì-chăn sà-baai dee kâa / kòp kun] : I Am fine./ Thank You. previously.

Therefore, today I am going to teach you some more Thai sentences responding in negative form (Not very well) to the question I have mentioned above.

Now we're going to start with the sentences as follows:

ไม่สบาย
mâi sà-baai
Not very good. / I'm sick.

เรื่อยๆ
rêuay rêuay
So so.

Remember, to increase the politeness level, if you are female, just add ค่ะ[kâa] at the end of sentences while if the speakers are male, put the particle ครับ[kráp] instead.

See some examples sentences as following, let's say the speaker(s) is male, the sentences form will be liked:

ไม่สบาย ครับ
mâi sà-baai kráp
Not very good. / I'm sick.

เรื่อยๆ ครับ
rêuay rêuay kráp
So so.

If the speaker(s) is female, sentences will look like as below sentences.

ไม่สบาย ค่ะ
mâi sà-baai kâa
Not very good. / I'm sick.

เรื่อยๆ ค่ะ
rêuay rêuay kâa
So so.
